This week, we get to look again at the fan favourite Final Fantasy VII again. The music is the opening theme.
"Opening ~ Bombing Mission" is a medley of the opening theme of Final Fantasy VII and the theme that plays during AVALANCHE's introduction in the game. It is one the FIRST pieces created for this game.
Opening Remake from Crisis Core
Orchestrated:
We will include PS3 FF VII Tech Demo here, which feature this piece of music.
You are not alone! Even if the everything has betrayed you, I will not.
So that's what I wanted to say when I played Final Fantasy IX, but the characters did it for me. When the truth that the main character Zidane is created to be the messenger of death, his shock has left him in a state of devastation. Even though he told his friends to leave, and he will fight to his own demise himself, his friends stayed anyway and helped him.
No further spoiling is necessary.
Again, two versions of "Not Alone" is presented here -- original and orchestrated live:
This week, we will present the main theme of Final Fantasy X, as well as one of the most prominent themes in Final Fantasy series.
Uematsu got the idea of the tune for the opening theme from a flute player he consulted for help. The theme together with "Suteki da ne" became the game's main theme, something Uematsu still finds hard to believe. Yet after only a while, one is quickly recognize this piece is beautiful and perfectly suiting the storys of Final Fantasy.
This week, we will present yet another favourite, from Final Fantasy XIII, we present the main Battle Theme -- "Blinded by Light", a.k.a. "Flash".
"Blinded by Light" is one of its most prominent tracks, its theme being a leitmotif for the game and its sequel. It was the first piece written for the game. Unusual for a battle theme, it features violins as the main instrument accompanied by strong percussion.
The version shown here is the "Dissidia Duodecim 012" arranged version.
"I know that with every concert that we have, when we have the orchestra perform "One-Winged Angel", for some reason or another that's the one that has the biggest reaction, and everyone sort of expects that to be in a Final Fantasy concert. I still can't figure out why. I know that I pushed everyone to his/her limits, but then it worked out in the end."—Nobuo Uematsu
The famous theme of, arguably the most famous villain of the Final Fantasy Series, Sephiroth. This piece's popularity far exceeds his original theme "Those Chosen By the Planet".
With latin lyrics, this original "One-Winged Angel" has being performed and remixed numerous times in concerts and games with his appearance, but there isn't one such as "Advent :One-Winged Angel". The near perfect mix of Orchestra and Heavy Metal, it is a great pleasure to listen to this piece. From Final Fantasy Wiki,
Nobuo Uematsu himself commented that the previous orchestration never really quite felt right to him and, by contrast, the combination of orchestra and metal sounds seemed to be what the piece really required all along.
It further emphasized the greatness of this remix.
This week, the music is the final boss theme of Final Fantasy VIII, "The Extreme". It is a interesting piece as it begins quietly and surprise the audience with a sudden change of tune.
I found this music video somewhere. It is a beautiful piece of music I mentioned before, and I will share it.
Been one of the most tragic game I've played in my life, somehow this song reflects the story perfectly.
I really hope you enjoy it, but if you didn't notice, it is FLIPPED! Reason is due to that this game is not yet released in America and other copy right issue. That's ALSO why it is PROTECTED. People can only view it but not really share it. Sorry if you want to spread the fun, just a little longer.

"Rebel Army's Theme", one of the most iconic piece of the classical Final Fantasy (NES generation). It serves as the theme of the Wild Rose Rebellion, who are the only fighting force left to fight the Palamecian Empire. Its dramatic tune is certainly more than enough to conclude that it is not just a video game background piece --- it is indeed a piece of art.
THe video plays the Symphonic Version of "Rebel Army Theme".
